Berk came to us on 5/21/20 from a reptile food breeder who was done breeding.
Fostered by Lise in Medford, MA.
ADOPTED!
#2020278N, “Berk”, Rat, Black, Berkshire, Standard Ears/Rex Coat, Male, DOB: 05/23/2019, Spayed/Neutered?: No
UPDATE 5/30/20:
“This big sweet squishy guy has an old injury that’s made him unable to walk on one of his front paws. Despite this, he can climb surprisingly well for now. As he gets older, he will probably need special accommodations like a single-level cage. He loves his treats and is very particular about how fleece should be arranged in his cage. Berk is easy to pick up, but not entirely comfortable being held yet. He should come around pretty quickly with a little more experience of gentle handling. He tends to fight with males, so he will need to be neutered or go to a home with a few spayed ladies for company.”
