UPDATE 6/3/17:
“They seem to like their set-up and are getting used to me and my house, though they spend most of their time on my lap and don’t seem to want to explore much of the room at large. Maybe that’s for the best until they get to know me better. Ben spends most of his time with his head in the crook of my elbow but Mark has gotten a bit more adventurous and does laps around my waist if I let him, and is starting to get comfortable with being exposed to the world at large. I’m trying to shoulder train them, they’re doing pretty good! They like to sleep in my sweatshirt pockets while I study. As far as rat personalities go they seem pretty laid back.”
UPDATE 6/18/17:
“Mark is a bit of a diva. When he’s on my lap and he wants a cheek scratch he’ll put his face in my hand or turn and stare at me until I do.
Ben is a sweetheart, still pretty shy but starting to look forward to coming out to say hi and getting a belly rub.”
