Astro came to MRR as part of a large hoarding situation. They have been made Sanctuary rats due to their deep-seated fear of humans.

After coming into foster from a hoarding situation, Astro and his brothers are spending their retirement in a rat’s paradise. They share an extra large cage full of every comfort known to rat, and they have an entire room as a play area where they can find toys, puzzles, doll houses, and endless boxes, tubes and tunnels to play in. Their foster spends quality time with them every day, and over time they have learned to trust her. They are very much loved and spoiled.
