#2022715N, “Jacqueline”, Guinea Pig, Red, , Skinny Pig, Female, DOB: 04/18/2019, Spayed/Neutered?: No

UPDATE 2/25/23:

“Jacqueline is the shyer of the two pigs. She has a striking bit of black fur on her nose and black on her body. She has some bites that are healed but may be noticeable in the pictures. She is very sweet. She gets along well with my pigs and think she’ll be a perfect member of a herd or just with her sister.

Alexandra is the solid red pig. She is a little bigger and the leader of the group. I tried introducing her to my pigs to see how she’d do and she ended up chasing and nipping at my girls. She will need to be monitored closely and introduced slowly with other pigs. She wants to be the dominant female. We call her battle pig. She is very sweet and is easier to pick up than Jacqueline.

Both pigs enjoy their hay and treats. I use a dustbuster type vacuum to spot clean my pigs and they have gotten used to the noise and no longer run and hide. I tend to change their hay and put it into their kitchen area and then vacuum so they’re distracted. They love their veggies and demand their breakfast salad every morning.”

UPDATE 11/20/22:

“These girls are friendlier than my own Guinea pigs. They climb on their back legs to take treats or food from me. They are great eaters loving Carrots, kale, romaine , green peppers, dandelion, and many other goodies. Definitely not fussy eaters. Every day when it was warmer I would take them outside to eat grass and they had no problem with me picking them up. They loved being outside in the sun. They really are very sweet pigs.”
