Angel came to us on 3/7/2024 because their owner had moved and could no longer keep her. On 3/29/24, Angel had a litter and Cherub joined us.

UPDATE 5/8/24:
“Angel is a curious and friendly rat. She enjoys digging in the dirt and exploring. During playtime she likes to alternate between running around and climbing on your lap for petting. At first she may be afraid to be picked up and may squeak and run away (though she does not bite). In my experience she grew more comfortable being picked up after a couple weeks.
Cherub, Angel’s daughter, is a vibrant and playful girl. She has a lot of energy. She enjoys play wrestling with both humans and other rats. She is comfortable being picked up and held, and enjoys pets. I am teaching her not to “play nip” my fingers (she does not bite).
Angel and Cherub will do well with people who enjoy active playtime with their rats.”
