These boys were orginally born into MRR custody on 5/14/23 and adopted on 7/23/23. They returned to us on 12/23/23 because their owner became allergic to them.

UPDATE 1/25/24:
“Albert and Elmer are a pair of friendly, curious, and active young men. Walk by their cage and you’ll be greeted by two boys eager to know what you’re doing, take whatever treat you might have, or even better, join you on your desk as able work assistants.
The boys are equally happy free-ranging in a safe, rat-proofed area where they can run around, explore climbing structures, or hop up on their foster’s lap for some tasty treats or boggle-inducing pets.
Albert is a little more adventurous, both with new situations and food. Elmer is a bit more cautious, preferring to hold back until he is sure things are safe. Once comfortable, though, he is as active as his brother.
If you are ready for some sociable, out-and-about kind of rats, these are your boys!”
