Alberto came to us on 10/17/25 when his owners could no longer care for him. After his companion passed away, he bonded with another lonely guinea pig who belonged to his foster, so he has become a sanctuary animal.

Alberto is full of life and boundless energy, he loves zooming around his cage, rearranging his igloos, and teaming up with his cage mate to enthusiastically beg for treats. He is smaller in stature, but makes up for it with his large personality. After Alberto and his current cage mate each lost their previous companions, they were introduced, and the two clicked instantly. Now, they thoroughly enjoy each other’s company—whether they’re working together to beg for treats or cozying up to share a pigloo.
