Roxas took on the role of Transport Coordinator in November of 2025, having previously been a part of several transports and their planning while working closely with MRR’s Foster Care Manager, Nancy. He utilizes our wonderful volunteers to transport precious furry cargo between surrenderers, fosters, and/or adopters.
He worked at a local pet store at sixteen years old and fell in love with the “feeder” rats. His parents agreed to let him buy two girls to keep as pets – Cookie and Cowie. In January 2021 he adopted three girls from MRR, later signing up to transport and foster in 2023.
Outside of MRR, Roxas has a boring office job working for a Massachusetts city’s DPW and is also a part-time college student. He also volunteers for the Bunderground Railroad occasionally. His home is full of Pokemon cards and video game consoles, and during the warmer months greatly enjoys tending his small home garden.
