UPDATE 11/13/25:
Brutus and Peewee are the snuggliest rats I have ever had the pleasure of keeping! All they want to do is be close to their human – they love nestling into hoods and resting on shoulders. Brutus and Peewee are brothers who have lived together since the day they were born and are deeply bonded with each other. These extremely sweet boys love nothing more than being pet and receiving cheek and ear scratches. Both brothers have never bitten and are very polite at taking food from hands. They are enjoying trying new foods and are good at sharing!
Brutus is the slighter larger brother with a full white belly. He is a little more timid than Peewee and usually follows Peewee’s lead. He loves snuggling, riding on shoulders, and hiding in fleece.
Peewee is the more outgoing of the brothers and will throw himself at the bars to be taken out of the cage. He loves cuddles and frequently will return ear scratches with lots of kisses. Peewee and Brutus enjoy brotherly wrestles, and Peewee will initiate but then loudly squeaks in protest.
These rats would be amazing pets for someone who is willing to give them lots of physical affection and attention.
