Hershey & Lucky came to us on 3/12/25 because their owner no longer had time for them. Bonnie came to us on 7/7/25 because last cagemate had passed.  Bonnie was introduced to Hershey & Lucky and they all became fast friends.

UPDATE 7/8/25:

Bonnie is a black & white hooded dumbo, a sweet and affectionate senior rat. She is just like a lap cat, she loves being cuddled and is very calm. Bonnie is very treat-driven, and loves (plain) Cheerios. Her nickname is Zoomie, from her younger years when she would get the zoomies, she would curl her tail like a little pig!

Hershey and Lucky are sisters.

Hershey is brown with a white belly and socks. Her middle name is Tarquinius, given by her original owner. She is very lively, curious, and loves exploring during playtime. She needs a lot of space to play and exercise. Hershey will climb anything and get to the hard-to-reach places, so beware!

Lucky is a PEW. Her middle name is Thistle! Given by her original owner. She used to be quite shy and timid, but she has chilled out and likes to be petted. She loves to play-fight with her sister and likes playing in little cardboard ‘houses’ I make for the rats.
