Walmart was born into MRR custody on 11/29/24 from a mouse who came to us pregnant from another shelter that had taken in mice from a hoarding situation.

UPDATE 7/24/25:
My name is Walmart because my siblings and I were born on Black Friday, so we all got store names. The humans had a sense of humor.
I am a pretty laid back fellow, and I’m a little shy, but I don’t bite. I prefer not to be picked up, but I will sniff your hand to check it for treats. I am a major foodie, and I enjoy looking in my dishes for tasty snacks more than I enjoy running on my wheel.
I am a bit on the chonky side, so if you like a little extra, I may just be the mouse man for you. I have been living the bachelor life, but I am neutered, so I could also be happy with a lady friend or two.

UPDATE 3/10/25:
Walmart is young and still on the shy side. He is starting to learn that hands are ok, and he will investigate your hand and fingers if he is out of his tank in a bin or play area. He loves his hammock and his hide, and will build nests in both. His favorite snacks are Gerber Puffs, cucumbers, melon, cornbread and chicken.
UPDATE 2/4/25:
This little mini-mouse, born on Black Friday, is so cute!
He is very curious and friendly, and will explore your hand if you put it in the tank. You would need to be careful trying to pick him up because he is FAST! He loves running in his spinner, customizing his hides, and stashing treats in secret locations for later.
He would make a great solo pet, or a nice companion for a group of females.
