Daisy came to us on 12/14/23 with Mama Luigi & Peach because their owner no longer had time for them. Due to their age and some medical issues, they were given Sanctuary status.
Fostered by Jill in Chepachet, RI.
UPDATE 6/27/24:
Since getting spayed, these three girls are even more energetic and lively. Peach even popcorns. They are very active and love exploring time so going to a home with a lot of out of cage time is ideal.
Mama Luigi loves being pet and is the slowest of the three and easiest to take pictures of, Peach is the most curious and wants to be on you, and Daisy has really warmed up to her foster mom and wants almost as much attention as the other two.
They are an amazing trio of cuteness!
UPDATE 6/2/24:
“All three are doing great! I am not sure if this is typical with spays but holy moly do they have energy. They are one and 1/2 years old And this evening Peach and Daisy were popcorning for the first time since I picked them up in December. They’ve always been loving but all three are crazy involved with everything I do. It’s actually like having babies again.”
UPDATE 2/4/24:
“Mama Luigi, AKA Lulu, is the biggest lady of the three and loves her food. She is very friendly and gets so excited to be let out of her cage to play. She explores when out, and will beg for snacks if you’re eating something. She will occasionally give toes a little nibble, but will also sit in your hands for scratches. She wishes she could climb as well as her cage mates do but she is not as skilled in that area. Mama Luigi is a real sweetheart.
Peach is a very friendly and social little girl. She is very inquisitive and she loves getting to explore outside her cage and climb all over her people. She will climb up her foster moms chest and give her a little kiss. Peach loves all food, she also is so cute and will chase a ball and feathers and pounce on them (like a cat!). She’s the bestest girl and always keeps her teeth to herself.
Daisy is the most shy out of the three. But she has become much more confident in the short time her foster mom has had her. She isn’t a big fan of being held but she will never bite when you’re trying to pick her up. She loves exploring outside her cage, and also loves getting tissues in her cage and making nests all over. She will fish for peas in water, all three will, and all three will sit in the water while eating. Daisy likes to nibble toes, but comes running for treats and likes to chase feathers like Peach does.”
