Bubblegum came to us on 12/16/23 because her owner no longer had time for her. Due to behavioral concerns and medical issues that arose as she aged, she was given Sanctuary status.

UPDATE 4/6/24:
“Bubblegum is a wild child. While she doesn’t enjoy being picked up, she tolerates it with very little dramatic squeaking now! She is very energetic and not a very good shoulder rat, but so much fun to watch during playtime. She is easily led out onto your arm/shoulder with treats!
She won’t sit still for petting but tolerates all touches/grabs/moving. She has learned that “up!” means to climb on my shoulder!!”
