Yale was born in MRR custody on 7/22/2020. She was adopted in August of 2020 and returned to us on 9/24/21 after her sister passed and she was left alone. She was adopted again on 10/31/2021 and returned to us again on 1/10/2023 after her cage mate passed. Due to her age and some medical issues, Yale was given Sanctuary status.

“Yale, we affectionately call her Boo, is a sweet old girl. She is being treated for a pituitary tumor and has some hind leg degeneration due to her age. She still loves creating nests so gets a lot of bedding and shredded paper for creating warm fluffy nests in boxes. She zips around on the floor of the rat room daily for however long she wants (usually 1, sometimes 2 hours).”
