Shelby originally came to us as Aly in July 2019 from an owner who had too many pets. She was adopted a month later, and then returned to us 2 years nearly to the day of her adoption. Her cagemate had passed and owner was unable to take in more rats to keep her company. Due to her age she was made a Sanctuary foster, where she is living happily with a neutered boyfriend!
UPDATE 8/15/21:
“She is such a funny girl. She is very sweet but will scream bloody murder if you try and pick her up against her will. She immediately played dead when she met Loki.”
