Leonardo came to us on 5/22/21 because his owner didn’t have enough time to care for him and because his brother was very ill. His brother unfortunately passed shortly after his arrival with MRR. Shredder and Splinter came to us on 5/31/21 because their owner was moving and couldn’t bring them along. The three were introduced and became fast friends!

UPDATE 6/27/21:

“Leonardo lost his brother shortly after being surrendered and was introduced to Splinter & Shredder shortly thereafter. They all became fast friends and can be frequently found cuddled together in a hammock or spaceball.

Leo is the friendliest and most easy going of the group. He loves to explore during free roam and has no qualms about being picked up or handled.

Splinter is the largest of the three and the alpha of the group. He can be a little skittish and prefers to not be picked up if possible.

Shredder loves free roam time and is frequently at the gate hoping to come out. He exhibits the characteristic head sway of PEW’s and tends to be easily startled by sudden movement, so my guess is his eyesight is not the greatest.

All three will come climb on me during free roam in hopes of getting treats or quick scritches during their adventures. They love to wrestle and chase each other around.

They do a decent job using the potty, but can be a little lazy if the potty is too far away from a hammock or space ball that they are sleeping in.

I’ve also seen Leo and Splinter use their wheel on occasion.”
