Lucky came to us on 11/9/20 after the snake she was purchased to feed did not want to eat her. She has one cloudy eye but was cleared by a vet; it is not infected, does not bother her, and doesn’t require any treatment at this time.
Fostered by Hayley in Spencer, NY.

UPDATE 12/18/20:
“Lucky is very curious and adventurous, and she loves to explore any new places. It took her a whole day to figure out how to use the ramps in her cage, but once she did she loved to explore her new space. She also likes to run around on the couch, but we have to watch her closely or she tries to hide between the cushions.
She seems to like meeting new people and gives little kisses and nibbles if you put your hands in the cage. I’ve been working on getting her used to being held. She likes climbing on me, but being held is not her favorite thing.
Her favorite spot is the corner of the cage, and I got her a corner hammock with a little curtain on it, which she loves to sleep under. There has to be at least one piece of fleece in the cage for her to make into a bed or else she will pull any fabric in her vicinity into the cage and use that.
She also likes trying new foods, and she likes blackberries, grapes, carrots, peas, and cucumbers. She has a unique personality and it’s fun to watch her figure out all the new things she comes across.”
