These boys came to us on 10/13/19 because their owner’s landlord wouldn’t allow pets. After a vet visit to remove a wart, it was found that one of the boys is a carrier of papilloma, which is contagious to other rats, but fortunately does not cause cancer or any other issue in rats. Because we recommend that they not be introduced to other rats, we decided to make them sanctuary fosters.
