Momma Helena came to us on 9/1/18 from another shelter that didn’t have enough space for her. She came to us already pregnant, and gave birth to her babies on 9/17/18!

UPDATE 11/13/18 on Viola & Emilia:
“Viola is a little explorer, and is the more confident of the two. She loves shoulder rides and giving kisses. Emilia prefers to find a quiet corner to go relax in until she settles into her surroundings, and then will follow her sister’s lead. They both do very well meeting other rats, and have been through introductions with both adults and babies, females and neutered males.”
UPDATE 12/10/18 on Bianca & Juliet:
“Bianca & Juliet are soft, beautiful girls. They have very gentle spirits and are a bit shy. I’ve been working on getting them to warm up to people a bit more. They do allow me to pick them up now, and they take treats gently from my hand. Bianca is the friendlier of the two, and she likes to sit on my shoulder a lot. Juliet prefers to go off exploring when she is out of the cage. I’m sure with lots of attention and bonding time they would make wonderful pets in their forever home. They would also probably love it if they had more rat buddies to live with. They are very sweet girls.”
