These boys came to us on 6/17/18 because they had been fighting and were all injured. They have been neutered and received treatment, and now are doing much better!
Fostered by Branwen in Walpole, MA.
Special need: both boys have issues with reoccurring abscesses. They also should not go to a home with other males, whether intact or neutered.
UPDATE 8/6/18:
“These boys are all friendly guys but should go to a rat-experienced home due to their history of fighting. They no longer beat the heck out of each other, but they still have some vocal skirmishes. Viper and Mav’s tails and abscesses (all from their nasty fights) are completely healed. Goose’s tail still had a small wound that is healing very nicely but slowly because it’s on the tail. All 3 are unsure about being picked up, but Goose is very nervous/squirmy. They probably should go to a home with older children because of that.
Viper and Maverick are usually together. They are both outgoing, enjoy free range, and are very friendly.
Maverick loves to gives kisses and snuggle with Viper.
Viper is the most chill of the boys. He will let you kiss his belly and once he has finished exploring during free range, he likes to lay down and have you pet him. Once he settles down Mav will usually follow his lead and lay down to get pets too.
Goose is the shyest and slowest to warm up. He is the last to come out for treats, but once he feels comfortable he loves to explore! I never get to snuggle with Goose because he has too many things to do!”
