Special need: These boys are very skittish and need some TLC and a quiet home.

UPDATE 8/25/19:

“They were very scared when I first got them. They are still pretty scared, however Tiko and Fivel are coming around faster than Rufus. They use their litter box. They have been picked up and held for short times, but they tend to freak out so I only hold them for short times. I put my hands in the cage and let them come over to me and investigate. They may bite through the cage bars but not in the cage.

They all love the igloo house. They love to use their litter box. They do have a hammock, but do not sleep or go in it. Rufus goes to the top of the honeycomb hammock every night for his “nightly nudie surveillance,” but he doesn’t sleep in it.

Fivel is the calmest and he allows you to pet him.

Tiko is pretty energetic, is a little scared, but does not immediately run away.

Rufus is the most scared. He will run away after freezing if you open the door or try and touch him. He is highly energetic.

Despite being afraid they are all very friendly. They will take food from hands gently. I believe they will be very nice, snuggly, and playful boys after they get used to humans.”

UPDATE 12/1/19:

“All the boys are skittish and still quite nervous. They are becoming braver. Once they are out on the couch they will explore at their own pace, mostly hiding behind the pillow and popping out for a short time. All the boys are very active and curious. They are not aggressive, just scared.

They do not like loud noises or aggressive movements. They love sleeping in their igloo. They always are snuggled together. The boys are great at using their litter box.

Rufus the naked is the most scared.

Tiko is very curious but timid. He tends to nibble or bite (not hard) when I put my hand inside near him. If I let him sniff me first he usually won’t bite.

Fivel is the most outgoing. He will let me pet him and pick him up.”
