Lydia came to us on 2/18/19 after some NYC sanitation workers found her and her siblings in a bag of trash! Luckily the kindhearted men knew the right thing to do and reached out to us to make sure they got cleaned up and into forever homes. Lydia came to us already pregnant and her one and only daughter Smeesh was born on 3/6/19. The girls are healed up, healthy, and ready for their forever homes.

Fostered by Rebecca in Albany, NY.

UPDATE 4/17/19:

“Lydia and Smeesh are just adorable, fun, and so energetic. Smeesh is still getting used to being snuggled by people but is really excited to see us. Lydia is just as loving as they come, and really enjoys being pet and snuggled. They are sharing their home with another rat, Freya, right now and have settled in so well and have had no problems getting along. We also have a 6 year old and Lydia and Smeesh are great with her! They have such wonderful personalities.”
