Elijah has been a rat parent since 2008, first adopted from MRR in 2017, and started fostering shortly after in 2018. He has joined MRR’s Board of Directors and will assume the role of Treasurer at the start of 2022.
He is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has a special love for working with rodent and avian patients. He also holds a BS in Accounting and is currently studying for the CPA exam. He works full-time at a public accounting firm in Waltham and moonlights at a local veterinary clinic when he is needed.
Elijah shares his home with many animal companions including (but never limited to) dogs, cats, rats, birds, reptiles, fish, and ants. In his spare time you can find him touring New England by bicycle and drinking way too much coffee.
