Alphonse came to us on 4/23/19 because his owner was having surgery and didn’t have anyone to take care of all of their pets while they healed.

Fostered by Mary in Lebanon, NH.

#2019181N, “Alphonse”, Mouse, Brown and White, Male, DOB: 03/13/2019, Spayed/Neutered?: No

UPDATE 5/11/19:

“Alphonse was a little fearful at first, and was hard to coax out of his tube for any kind of interaction. But, over the past two weeks, he has become incredibly busy, remodeling his nest and home constantly, and burrowing around in little tunnels under the bedding. He is only slightly wary of my hand in his cage, and once he’s out, I become a jungle gym rather than any kind of suspicious large beastie. He is so quick and curious that it is nearly impossible to get a good picture of him unless I have someone else hold the camera – but I should stress, he’s not trying to get away, he’s just really wants to know how big the world is! Alphonse has nipped a few times, just out of curiosity”
