These boys originally came to us on 3/15/16 after they were found in a box on the side of the road. They were adopted last year and came back to us on 10/12/17 because their owner didn’t have enough time for them.

Fostered by Leticia in Merrimack, NH.

ADOPTED!

#2016041N, “Mickey”, Rat, Beige, Berkshire, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Male, DOB: 11/15/2015, Spayed/Neutered?: Yes 03/24/2016

#2016037N, “Rovie”, Rat, Black, Irish, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Male, DOB: 11/15/2015, Spayed/Neutered?: Yes 03/24/2016

Special need: The boys are seniors, and Mickey has a history of biting.

UPDATE 10/19/17:

“Mickey has turned out to be nippy, but inconsistently. He seems to ‘protect’ Rovie so will nip/bite when we try to handle Rovie.

They do not like to be picked up, handled or held. Once out, they are not curious or exploratory at all, they huddle under or inside of whatever they can find. They behave as though they are afraid. It seems they may not have been regularly handled.

They are in good physical shape, nice coat, good size, they look rather spry considering they are senior. They would be a possible match to keep an older intact lady company

An adopter would need to be super patient and mindful of Mickey’s unpredictability.”
