Georgie is a very sweet elderly guy who enjoys snuggling on a lap. He bears a remarkable resemblance to a fuzzy caterpillar! He is highly enthusiastic about pea flakes or a small piece of fruit and likes to climb on top of or through a hay pile sometimes. He enjoys his wooden hut and fleece accessories, like tunnels and snuggle sacks. He is a low stress guy who doesn’t startle easily and sits still when I reach in to scratch his head.<\/p>\n

When he first arrived, Georgie had an issue with his eye and his feet and the vet was of the opinion that he was injured at some point. He had a fungal infection on his foot also. The problems have been resolved, however his toes\/feet are deformed and the vet has said he may have orthopedic issues in the future.<\/p>\n

He has never been bonded with other guinea pigs, but seems to respond to the piggy excitement from nearby enclosures during feeding\/cleaning times.<\/p>\n<\/div>
