These girls were born into a veterinary program and have been handled from birth. They are as sweet and curious as rats can be, and will demand regular playtime by hanging on the bars of the cage and jumping to get your attention.

Clementine, distinguished by the circle hole in her ear, is the more adventurous of the sisters. She loves finding new ways to explore her environment including outstanding long jumps and impressive blanket burrowing. She is easy to train and has learned to stand on her back legs and twirl in a circle for a treat. Clementine loves belly tickles and will ride around on your shoulder, but her favorite is activity free range exploration!

Rosie is marked by a notch in her ear and is a very special girl. She is as clever as Clementine but slightly more timid. She will make a small “beep” when you pick her up but really enjoys cheek scratches, belly pets, and free range. Rosie follows Clementine’s lead when it comes to exploring and learning tricks.

Rosie’s teeth are misaligned (malocclusion) and they will need to be examined and trimmed at least monthly.

These sweet girls will do best in a quiet, peaceful home that can devote time each day to supervised free range (they will eventually learn to jump off a couch)! The sky’s the limit with their training!

Clementine

Rosie

Clementine (top) & Rosie (bottom)

Rosie (left) & Clementine (right)

[133
129
post-35469","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-previously-adopted-2025","tag-medical-needs
["GET
