She will accept pats, but does not love to be held. She is the boss lady in the colony and grooms all of her cage mates. She can occasionally nip when startled, but mostly she is a very good lady.<\/p>\n<p>Rose Hill (Rosie) is an adventurous little rascal who loves to play and free range more than anything. She is often the last one to wrangle when playtime is over. She never nips and likes pets much more than her mom, but she is also slippery and not exactly a cuddle rat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE 12\/9\/24:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Momma Virginia is still a little skittish in her new surroundings, but she seems like a sweet rat and is a very loving mom. The babies are all very cute and playful.
