They were shy at first but now are eager to take treats from my hand and go exploring in the play area. They LOVE the dig box!

They are still not completely comfortable being picked up so I offer them a snuggle sack or igloo and they hop right in for a ride. They enjoy foraging toys and building elaborate nests out of eco bedding.

They both have “wheelie tail”. This is when the tail curls up over the rat’s back. Sometimes it’s suspected to be caused by using a running wheel that is too small. Other times it’s believed to be a genetic trait. It absolutely does not slow them down one bit, they run and climb like they are preparing for the rat Olympics.

If you want to be entertained by a couple of cuties you have found yourself a great little duo!

Crystal

Ash

Together

[114

post-32920","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-previously-adopted-2024
["GET
