UPDATE 11\/1\/24:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The girls have been with us for a month now and have been making good progress.<\/p>\n

Violet is starting to come up for treats with her sister and both have allowed 1-2 pets before scurrying away. The biggest progress has been out of the cage. They’ve been out in a bonding pouch twice now and have met our girls and boys. Once there are friendly rats around them, they become much braver and will climb into your lap\/shoulder and allow even more pets.<\/p>\n

They will definitely benefit from an experienced adopter that has some friendly rats.<\/p>\n

UPDATE 10\/17\/24:<\/strong><\/p>\n

These two girls came from a pet store and were never given the love they needed. A patient, experienced adopter is needed to help get these girls to come out of their shells.<\/p>\n

They will take treats from our hands (cautiously) but will not allow us to pick them up or pet them.<\/p>\n

Mina is the more curious of the pair and will always come to the door, but will run if startled.<\/p>\n

Violet tends to stay in the back until her sister checks out the situation.<\/p>\n

They both love their wheel and burrowing in their fleece.<\/p>\n<\/div>
