Once terrified of humans, they preferred to remain hidden in my presence. Now they approach me looking for a gerber puff or just to see what I’m up to.

I would describe them both as independently affectionate. They will sit on my lap or shoulder during play time and take even the smallest treats from my hand like perfect gentleman.

They prefer to be taken into their play area and back to their cage inside a tunnel or igloo rather than be picked up with my hands. We are working on stepping onto my hands when offered and I have no doubt they will master this very soon.

Very active they love the dig box, foraging toys, pea fishing and building nests. If you love to watch rats be rats these guys will be perfect for you!

Pebble

Puddle

Together

[114

post-32068","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-previously-adopted-2024
["GET
