He takes treats very gently from my fingers, and sniffs my hand without issue. He still gets a bit of a self protective stance when I reach to his back to pet or pick up, but once I have him out he is fine. He has used his litter box more than half the time so I believe he will get better at that with time. I was told he might &#8220;nip&#8221; by the original owner, but so far he has not and with gentle love and patience I don&#8217;t believe he will.
