I don’t free range them as their owner did, but I do hold them every day and have my daughter making me one of those exercise collars that I can wear around my neck and they can be in it. They came with two of the hanging rat pineapples and a big hammock, all of which they enjoy, and they also use an igloo. I have tried them with a wheel but haven’t seen any action on that yet, which is kind of disappointing because I think they would like it if they tried it. Lily is just a little bit more timid than Rosie but both come to me readily.

I give them Oxbow and also the Sue Bee mix. They love green leaf lettuce, mashed potatoes, cooked and raw pasta, fresh corn. I haven’t tried them fishing for frozen peas yet.”

Rosie

Lily

Cage

These girls came to us on 8/25/20 because their owner’s partner was allergic to them.
