They are super sweet. They both love yoggies, honestly I haven’t met a rat that doesn’t love them, and bananas and carrots. Neither seem interested in the wheel, they enjoy lounging in the hammock or making a nest with the extra fleece.

Barnaby is really outgoing and calm. He has no problem being picked up or held. He likes being on my shoulder, but has a hard time staying still. He is at the front of the cage looking for treats every time I enter the room. He happily takes treats from my hand.

Baileys is a little more shy, but he will take treats from my hand, too. He’s interested when I approach the cage but hangs back a bit to check things out. At first, Baileys was really nervous about being handled by me, but has become more comfortable over time. It’s still not his favorite thing but will settle when I hold him close to my body. Baileys does make a wheeze-like sound when he gets excited. ”

Bailey’s

Barnaby

Bailey’s originally came to us on 10/5/18 as a baby from another shelter with no room.
