These girls came to us on 3\/24\/19 because they were used for testing at a local college and at risk of euthanasia after the college closed due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n

UPDATE 4\/20\/20:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Ellie<\/em> has a mark at the base of her right ear and a bigger head than the other two. She is quite shy and not as active\/exploratory as the other two but as a consequence will sometimes sit still for cuddles.<\/p>\n

Cookie<\/em> is the most active and a little manic. She is skinnier and smaller than the other two and has a circular mark out of her right ear.<\/p>\n

Rosie<\/em> is active and reasonably friendly. She also has a circular mark out of her right ear but is larger and more ‘well built’ than Cookie.<\/p>\n

All of the rats will now take treats out of my hand or a held spoon and will walk over us when they are out on the couch. They are still not super comfortable with sitting still and being petted.”<\/p>\n
