They still are a bit shy but who wouldn’t be in their situation? They’ve definitely gotten so so much better since coming to my home. They even ask for attention and come to me for treats everyday (they love yogies!). They can be found hanging out in their hammock right at the front of their cage, any time of day. Casein is a tiny bit more shy but she quickly follows in Whey’s footsteps with becoming more confident once she shows her that things are okay. I think they’ll fit in well in any home! My home is a bit more noisy and busy than most and they’ve adjusted perfectly and quickly.”

UPDATE 3/31/20:

“Both girls are doing great! They seem to be coming more and more out of their shells every day. Whey is still a bit more outgoing than Casein. They both love taking treats from me, but Whey is more likely to take them from my hands while Casein would rather I leave the treat in front of her for her to take when I’m not looking. They’ve been loving out of cage time and their salads too! ”

Casein

Whey

These girls came to us on 11/23/19 from the Ithaca Rescue.
