Please join Mainely Rat Rescue in Lexington, MA for an Adoption Open House! Although we have adoptions happening each and every day, we still have many wonderful rats in custody who need homes!<\/p>\n

This is an opportunity to meet rats in our custody and find the perfect ratties for you. We have rats of all types and colors, all ages, intact and neutered boys, and intact females. There will be many new babies, squishy adults, AND MORE<\/b>!<\/p>\n

In addition to adorable rats, we will have a chance to have fun socializing with other rat people at the same time. \u00a0Children are welcome as long as they are supervised! Please do not bring your personal pets, however, rats or other. We will have snacks and beverages available, as well as hammocks and other merchandise for sale.<\/p>\n

This is a closed event; if you wish to attend, you must RSVP. Please email the Adoption Coordinator (Lena) using the Contact Us form<\/a> and select Adopting.\u00a0 You can come and browse to see if anyone catches your fancy, but you must have an application in to attend and to bring someone home with you. New adopters must have applications in by Saturday August 17th and return adopters must have application in by Thursday August 22nd<\/sup>. The location of the event will be disclosed upon approval of your application.<\/p>\n

VERY IMPORTANT:<\/strong><\/p>\n

You must have an approved application on file in order to take your new pet(s) home that day.<\/em> \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please refrain from visiting pet stores<\/strong> 3 hours prior to coming to the Open House as you can carry dangerous viruses that can be passed onto the animals at this event.<\/p>\n

If you going to adopt, please bring a secure travel carrier<\/strong> with you to transport the rats back with you.<\/p>\n

Also, note, we do not accept personal checks<\/strong>, so please bring cash, debit, credit card or paypal!<\/p>\n
