They don’t hesitate to greet me at the cage door and take treats from my hand. They still don’t like to be held and are super wiggly, but I suspect it’s because they have better things to do, such as running around, wrestling & playing. During cage free time, they climb all over me, nibble groom fingers & get in my face with sniffing & kisses. As long as I’m not trying to pick them up, they’re really interactive.

Nakia is the shyest of the four, although if I’m sitting still she is the most avid groomer.

Ramonda is also a bit more reserved.

Okoye and Shuri are both outgoing & friendly. Okoye has started wrestling my fingers during play time. Shuri is most likely to let me pick her up.

They all get along well together and it would be great if they could at least be adopted in pairs – even better if all four can stay together! They do wrestle and squeak a lot, but then all four squeeze into their space pod together to sleep.”

Nakiya

Okoye (center)

Ramonda

Shuri

These girls came to us on 7/13/19 because their owner had too many rats!
