He’s fun to watch and he loves to run around. His favorite thing to do is to try to climb out of his cage when I open it. His previous foster had him marked for a biter, and though I haven’t noticed that particularly with him I am also cautious to keep fingers away from his face. It’s best to scoop him up using a toilet paper tube, or to let him just come out of the cage on his own terms. He’s a soft and fluffy little guy, and he’ll let me pet him for one or two strokes at a time.”

UPDATE 11/18/18:

“Radar has definitely settled down in his adulthood. He’s still fun to watch in his cage, and he loves new toys and nesting with a little fleece. He comes out of the cage easily in a toilet paper tube, or sometimes I can catch him just with my hands, and then out of the cage he is just fine being held and pet or going exploring on the countertop. He’s very easy to give treats to both in and out of the cage. For a young child he’d need some adult supervision to pick him up, and other than that he’s an A-OK little guy.”

Radar was born in December 2017 as a result of the Art Gallery Mice rescue!
