Now she needed a forever home PLUS company to perk up her spirits and appetite.

THEN an evil villain (boo, hiss!) threatened to toss two pregnant guinea pigs
and the father outside in the winter cold, or to offer them as reptile food. Heroine and foster mom Nicole (yeah, cheer!) rescued both pregnant mothers and the father, got them all back to health and lovingly raised both litters. Mango, one of Nicole’s new baby girls, seemed born to befriend the formerly lonely Feeble (TaDa!).

But one question remains. (Suspenseful music builds…) Are you the one? Are you the one with enough love in your heart for this gorgeous and even for gosh sake’s COLOR-COORDINATED duo? Are you the one to make their new years’ dreams come true with a forever home?

UPDATE 12/4/17:

“If you like a gorgeous pet packed with personality, Febble’s the Lonely Girl for you. Look at that colorful fur and those sparkling eyes. Febble seeks another mature lady to share timothy hay snacks and long, quiet walks in the cage.

Febble’s been through a lot in the short time we’ve had her. She was surrendered to MRR, often harder for an adult pet. She came to us tormented with skin itchies which have been relieved. She’d been alone for a long time, so we tried to introduce a younger friend named Webble who’d been slowed by health issues. But before the friendship took, Webble passed away. Still, Febble’s personality shines through.

She’s a study in contrasts. Is she hungry? You get insistent piggy squeals—until she’s fed, then she quietly munches. Do you want to cuddle? She’ll run away and hide. But once you catch her and she’s put up a token protest, she’ll stay still to accept your affections.

She loves her morning vitamin C and other treats, including apples, romaine lettuce, carrots and strawberries. But her stress and loneliness show in reduced appetite for her regular hay, pellets and water.

Do you have the lady friend to help Febble open and chow down?”

RESERVED:

<del>#2017610N, “Apricot”, Guinea Pig, Tricolor, American, Female, DOB: 12/10/2017, Spayed/Neutered?: No</del>

Febble

Febble (left), Apricot (middle), and Mango (right)

Febble came to us on 9/29/17 because her owner couldn’t afford to care for her.
