This bunch of babies was born on 6\/8\/16 to a mom from Holbrook<\/a>. Their foster says “The babies are all very curious, friendly, and energetic, as well as cute beyond description!”<\/p>\n

UPDATE 12\/5\/16:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Sparkle<\/em> can bite when in her cage if your hand gets too close to her, so she should probably go to an experienced rat home. She always comes over to the cage door so she\u2019s not afraid of humans. If you scoop her up carefully, she\u2019s fine being held.”<\/p>\n

UPDATE 10\/25\/16:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Jazzberry Jam<\/em> was the first one to start coming over to the cage door after being moved to a new foster home while the others were still a little scared in the corner. She is very friendly. She can scoot up the outside of a cage faster than any rat I\u2019ve ever seen. In fact, the first night as I was standing in front of the open door, she escaped without me knowing. She must have spent the night on top of the adjoining bookcase because the next morning, I noticed one of the rat pile was clinging to the outside of the cage. I was able to easily get her and put her back inside. The next night, the same thing happened! I was standing right there and decided to do a tail count before leaving them, which was when I noticed someone was missing. She was on the top of the cage. What a little pistol! (My husband thinks her name should be Wesson).<\/p>\n

Scarlett<\/em> is one of the more mellower girls and is friendly. She crawled into my hoodie and has been relaxed in there for the past 10 minutes (so far).<\/p>\n

Magenta<\/em> has become very friendly. She consistently comes over to the door with her sisters and will let me pet her.<\/p>\n

Thistle<\/em> is a little nervous, but has been coming over more and more.<\/p>\n

Deep Space Sparkle<\/em>, along with Jazzberry Jam, was one of the first rats to start coming over to the cage door after they changed foster homes to mine.”<\/p>\n
