He’d much rather explore than sit and be pet.

Elfin: Cuddle bug, just wants to sit in your hands and nibble groom your fingers while you pet him, loves to cuddle under the fleece in their cage

Sachem: He’s a little more skittish than the other 3 but still very sweet, likes to be under a blanket when he’s out for cuddles

Harvester: The lazy one, fell asleep on my hand the first day while getting pet, slept the whole time he was out. Very laid back and tolerated a very quick bath very well

All four boys are super sweet, they have all gives me kisses and nibble groom my fingers.”

UPDATE 8/1/16″

“Sachem has opened up a lot, now he is very mellow and loves cuddles. Doesn’t do much during out time and would rather be in your lap. He can be a little nervous on your shoulder, so he prefers a hood to lay in. He sleeps mostly In a hanging basket or on top of his brothers in hammocks.

Satyr is a very loving boy, loves to wrestle your hand but is very gentle, the first to great you at the cage and to try new foods. He’s always on the move and finding new ways to get into trouble, and enjoys a good game of tag.

Both boys love hammocks but have a habit of peeing in them so need to be washed often; the sputnik is also a favorite. They aren’t a huge fan of hidey houses, but love being under their fleece blankets. They are also lazy self cleaners so need a wipe down with a damp rag especially around their boy bits once a week.

Satyr also gets a face cleaning once a week and needs constant checking and occasional flushing of his eyes to remove staining and debris. His skin also has been a little dry so he gets a little coconut oil when needed.

Both love veggies and some dried fruit like banana and apple!

Not huge chewers, rarely chew on any chew toys and haven’t chewed any of their fleece. Would probably do well with litter box training, only use 2 corners to poop in, and pee mostly in the corners or hammocks.”

ADOPTED:

<del>#2016285N, “Elfin”, Rat, Blue, Hooded, Dumbo Ears/Standard Coat, Male, DOB: 05/21/2016, Spayed/Neutered?: No</del>

<del>#2016286N, “Harvester”, Rat, Pink-Eyed-White, , Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Male, DOB: 05/21/2016, Spayed/Neutered?: No</del>

<del>#2016284N, “Satyr”, Rat, Black, , Dumbo Ears/Double Rex Coat, Male, DOB: 05/21/2016, Spayed/Neutered?: Yes</del>

<del>#2016287N, “Sachem”, Rat, Pink-Eyed-White, , Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Male, DOB: 05/21/2016, Spayed/Neutered?: Yes</del>

Satyr

Elfin

Sachem

Harvester

These boys came to us on 6/4/16 from Holbrook.
