He was lucky to be in decent shape when I rescued him, but his socialization was greatly lacking. He\u2019s come so far, and if his forever home continues with patient love, he could be an amazing pet.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>From his former owner: &#8220;He doesn&#8217;t like being picked up, but he loves to come to the open cage door for pets, and he will climb out of the cage into a lap for gentle lovings. When he&#8217;s asleep he will let me give him gentle little pets on his head. He is pretty fearless and loves exploring when in a safe space, but he\u2019s a pretty lazy guy.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure how he would do introduced into a larger colony. He was pretty dominant with his other cagemate. His pushy-ness has tamed down a lot. Because of this he&#8217;s let me work on picking him up and carrying him around a lot more. He&#8217;s also gotten to be quite a big snugglier!
