Layla was bought as a companion for two older females who didn’t accept her. Not wanting her to to have to live alone, her previous owner brought her to us. She came into our custody on 5/2/16.

Fostered by Heron in Brooklyn, NY.

ADOPTED!

#2016134N, “Layla”, Rat, Beige, Hooded, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Female, DOB: 11/01/2015, Spayed/Neutered?: No

UPDATE 5/6/16:

“Layla is settling in well. She is sweet but hasn’t been socialized much. I see improvement already through this week and think she would be a great fit for an experienced owner. Layla was very happy to be introduced to a couple of my females!”

UPDATE 5/25/16:

“She is very cute- playful and energetic. She doesn’t nip anymore but doesn’t like to be held for long. Yesterday she climbed up into my hood and rice krispies for a few minutes; I think she will bond quickly with an attentive owner.

She is very eager to play and tumble with other rats. Best for adults, but ok for inexperienced owners. Not a great pair for a sick/ senior rat.”
