UPDATE 12/1/19:

“These boys are super friendly! Kirby has been one of the most outgoing rats I’ve ever met from day one. Seamus was a little skittish about handling when he arrived, but he’s come a long way. When they’re out for playtime they will sprint to you when you enter the room, it’s super cute. These two have been a huge pleasure to have around; they just love people and love to interact and explore.

Seamus still gets a bit panicky when being picked up, but other than that he’s constantly seeking out interaction. Kirby is the larger of the two and pretty chill so they don’t fight too much. They are still learning about new foods and aren’t that adventurous treat wise, but they lose their minds over bananas now!

They haven’t interacted with my other rats, but they haven’t gotten very territorial when I come in smelling of my other boys (who aren’t neutered). I was told Seamus might bite by his first foster; but he’s been a total sweetheart with us. He met a lot of strangers and got a lot of handling his first day here and he gave us clear signs that he had had enough and wanted to be left alone but never even a nip.”
