UPDATE 1/15/20:

“These girls have blossomed amazingly. They would be an excellent group for someone with kids or who is somewhat new to rats. They have all been wonderfully healthy & friendly so far, and have all been a breeze in introductions.

Ginger Baker and Piccolo‘s photos don’t do justice to how easy it is to tell them apart–I can tell who is who 100% of the time. Ginger is much smaller and has a notch in one ear, while Pickles is larger and usually second to the cage door. I don’t believe their ages for a second; they love to spend their time wrestling with my youngest, and Ginger is so small I have trouble believing she’s a full-grown adult sometimes, but she hasn’t grown since she’s arrived with me so she is definitely over 6 months. Ginger is always first to the cage door and ready to kiss and play. Pickles follows her sister’s lead and enjoys finding a warm lap to sit in once she’s had her fun. Both girls are excellent with fingers through the cage bars, and will let me tickle their tummies through the door without so much as a nibble.”
