Claudette

This beautiful girl is a transfer from the Animal Refuge League in Westbrook, ME.

Claudette is being fostered by Veronica in Gorham, ME.  She is now considered “Special Needs.”

ADOPTED!

#2014431N, “Claudette”, Guinea Pig, Orange and White, Crested, Female, DOB: 02/01/2013, Spayed/Neutered?: No

UPDATE 4/27/15: “The ‘chubby one’ is very good, she continues on her meds and 2 massages a day, she is eating well.”

UPDATE 4/6/15:  Claudette had a bad bout with bloat, which, due to quick action by her foster mom, she came through quite well!  However, she will need to be on Gas-X for babies for the rest of her life, and will also need to avoid gassy foods.  She will need a home that is willing to attend to these special needs.

UPDATE 3/22/15:  Claudette loves some apples and carrots!  We feel she would be best suited for a family without young children, as she is not a fan of being handled, and has nipped a few times.  However, the fact that she will wear a hat (see below) is testament to the fact that she does tolerate a bit of fun outside of her cage.  😉
