How to Help
We are back up and running! Thank you for your understanding and patience. We still have a lot of work to do behind the scenes, but we are getting there! We have had several new intakes since the new team has been on board, and new animals should be posted as they become available!
PLEASE NOTE: We are planning a GRAND Re-Opening Adoption Party Open House in Gorham, Maine on Sunday, April 19th from noon to 5 pm to celebrate a new beginning for MRR. Stay tuned for details as we get them!
Can’t adopt, but you’d still like to help? There are several ways you can help us out!
Foster! We are in need of foster homes! Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and a foster application!
Volunteer! We need volunteers for a variety of tasks including fundraising and transport. Please email us at email@example.com for more information.
Shop! You can visit The Rat Roost, full of beautiful homemade hammocks and other rat related goodies, or our Food Store, which sells Harlan Teklad! You can also shop at our Cafepress Store, or shop through Amazon.com or IGive, both of which give a portion of the sales back to the rescue.
Donate! Donations are always greatly appreciated! Please check out our Wish List to see what items we’re in need of (psst – we also have an Amazon Wish List). You can give a monetary donation by mailing it to Mainely Rat Rescue, 34 Eureka Rd, Falmouth, ME 04105, or by donating through Paypal.
