These ladies came to us on 8/17/18 from a shelter that had too many rats surrendered at once to place them all.

UPDATE 9/17/18:

“These girls are improving big time. They are much more confident since mixing in with my old men. Somehow it seems to have relaxed them.

They are still fast but now it is more a nervous, active girl energy. I would say they are still not good for first time owners, because they still don’t come looking for attention, you have to catch them and force them out of the cage. But once out, they are beginning to approach humans for attention, but scurry away when you try to pet them. NO biting, though. I think they’ll get better with more time.

Super rat friendly though. They LOVE the big, fat old men”
