UPDATE 4/2/18:

“The Sanford boys are all doing very well. They all arrived with varying degrees of hair loss and 3 of the 4 are on the chunky side. The fourth guy would’ve been chunky if he didn’t have malocclusion. They have all adjusted very quickly to their new environment and are very eager for visitors, cage free time, scritches, or any sort of attention. They are super friendly, gentle, and all are very good couch buddies : )

Bosco is very outgoing and friendly, always the first to the cage door seeking your attention. He is the curious and confident leader of the group, setting a great example for the shyer boys and helping them feel more confident outside of the cage. Bosco has chipmunk cheeks too, he’s super cute! No health issues.

Bolt is very outgoing and friendly too, he’s often on Bosco’s heels to the cage door and might be the first if he wasn’t such a beefcake. Bolt does have a fatty tumor on his left side that makes him appear larger than he already is but it doesn’t seem to bother him. He enjoys cage free time and cuddling on the couch with me too!

Deadpool has a gentle soul and is very kind. He is a quieter rat but is curious and friendly so I wouldn’t consider him shy. Just not as outgoing as Bolt and Bosco. His is best buds with Dilly, they are often curled up togther in an igloo or hammock. Deadpool does have malocclusion and will need his teeth trimmed on the regular, I’d say every week to 10 days though he might be able to stretch it to 2 weeks. I’ve been offering mushy oxbow everyday but have seen him chew on the hard kibbles just as well as the other rats. He doesn’t like me poking around his mouth to check on his teeth either.

Dilly is the shyest of the four boys. He would prefer not to be held, but will happily cuddle next to you instead. He’s friendly and sweet, just not as outgoing as the other boys. Dilly is a handsome squish who just needs a bit more time to warm up than his cage mates. No health issues.”
